Chieftain Launch 100% Recycled Fabric 'Earthly'

1 min
Earthly is the latest fabric from Irish fabric manufacturer Chieftain FabricsPerfectly natural, and naturally perfect, Earthly is the most environmentally friendly fabric in Chieftain’s collection. Earthly is made from 100% recycled fibres and is manufactured entirely from waste textiles, textiles which may otherwise have gone to landfill.

Inherently flame retardant (crib 5) and certified for use on task and soft seating, as well as contract upholstery, Earthly can be featured on a variety of furniture pieces and places within a scheme. With a soft handle and timeless woven aesthetic, the fabric's weathered finish perfectly showcases its natural composition and multi-tonal colouration.

All of the recycled yarns (100% recycled cotton and polyester) used in its creation are certified to the Global Recycled Standard. The GRS is internationally recognised, widely understood, trusted, and respected by consumers. It verifies the recycled content of products in every step of the value chain through third party certification.

No dyes are used in its manufacture. The source yarns are already pre-dyed, so each shade in the collection is developed through the careful selection and combination of those yarns. Earthly comes in 20 eye-catching shades. If you'd like more information on Earthly or would like help with samples for specifying it in a future project, get in touch with me: kstephenson@officemaster.ie
