Dulux Announce Wild Wonder as Colour of the Year for 2023 Dulux Announce Wild Wonder as Colour of the Year for 2023

“Wild Wonder™ is a metameric colour that changes as the light moves across the sky during the day. So, this colour starts off looking green, soft, soft green, moves into the most beautiful golden barley, and in the evening it becomes a cool gold.” So said Dulux Creative Director, Marianne Shillingford at the A+D Community Launch at Allermuir in London this past Tuesday.

Allermuir's Farringdon Showroom played host to Dulux and the launch of their 'Colour of the Year' for 2023: Wild Wonder™ - "a positive, glowing tone, inspired by the natural world."

Wild Wonder™ is accompanied by four complementary colour palettes; Lush, Buzz, Raw and Flow. The Lush colours used in this open-plan office above provide the perfect natural counterpoint to technology, making the space feel cosier and more approachable. The enriching tones of the Raw palette can bring warmth and energy to any office space, using tones from peaty brown to soft clay.

Dulux Trade says: "With ‘hybrid working’ now commonplace, employees are looking for a new kind of working environment that won’t compromise their wellbeing. These colour schemes, using the Lush and Raw palettes, combined with Dulux Professional Colour of the Year Wild WonderTM, can bring value to office buildings while creating inspiring, sustainable and supportive spaces that feel connected with the natural world outside."
