New Product Configurator from Allermuir

One of our key furniture partners Allermuir, have recently launched a new ‘product configurator’. Allermuir, part of The Senator Group are a leading manufacturer in contemporary furniture for offices, public spaces like healthcare and education as well as the home. Founded in the 1970’s, they work with visionary designers including their own in-house design team as well as notable names like Pearson Lloyd and Benjamin Hubert | LAYER. Their focus is on “producing contemporary furniture that fuses original design with exceptional ergonomics and engineering”. Allermuir has worked on projects with global brands like Coca-Cola, Twitter, Google, Microsoft and Hilton. With showrooms in London, Birmingham, New York, Chicago, San Francisco, Bangalore and Hong Kong, Allermuir are a truly international brand.

 

We were so pleased then to host a number of training sessions with Stephen Morris, Group Training Manager for Allermuir recently. Stephen joined us to discuss the product configurator and walk our attendees through its many capabilities. The configurator, called ‘Your Allermuir’, is a live 3D design tool that allows the user to ‘step deeper into the design with real-time rendering and instant downloads’ meaning it’s ideal for architects, interior designers and facility buyers who are specifiying product.

 

What the Configurator Does

Your Allermuir currently has over 55,000 design variants. However, it is designed in a way that makes specifying and styling simple. When choosing a product, the user has to ability to spin the product and view it from any angle. The user can also zoom in and see the joins, seams and materials that make the product up close. Finally there are hundreds of fabric and finishing options to help your imagination run wild!

 

Export in a number of formats

One of the greatest features of Your Allermuirä is not just the ability to view your chosen product and finishes online, but to download them too! Download your custom render as a JPG, transparent PNG and even a PDF which will add further detail to the product like the finishes chosen and product codes.

 

This tool is very use is to use and there is no Sign Up or Login required. Simply visit any of the product pages on www.Allermuir.com and begin configurating your custom creations.
